What makes them different
PERCALE VS. SATEEN
How to choose the right cotton sheeting that is best for you and your sleep preferences
PERCALE COTTON
  • Simple One-Over-One Weave

  • Sleeps Cooler than Sateen

  • Light, Breathable, and Durable

  • Crisp, Smooth Finish

  • Softens with Time

PERCALE COTTON is made with a simple knit weave that is strong and durable over time. Its lighter weight is perfect for summertime or warmer climates. It is also highly breathable and is ideal for sleepers who like breathability in their bedding.

Percale sheets are soft and become even softer after repeated washing. However, they are prone to wrinkling in the wash; hence some users prefer to iron them after washing.

SATEEN COTTON
  • A Three-Over-Four Weave

  • Sleeps Warmer than Percale

  • Luxurious, Silky-Smooth Feel

  • Drapes Beautifully

  • Wrinkle Resistant

SATEEN COTTON has a special weave that creates a glossy, silky-smooth surface. Sateen is a little thicker and more tightly woven than percale which makes for a nice companion during colder weather. They are silky to the touch and tend to have a bright drape. While some sleepers like sateen sheets for their silky texture, excellent draping, wrinkle-resistant, and stylish shine, others like percale sheets for their crispness, breathability, and durability.

Sateen sheets are considered to be luxurious and do not need to be ironed, coming out of the dryer almost wrinkle-free.
