Part 3: Lili Alessandra Bedroom Makeover - The Reveal

If you are joining me for the first time you can read Part 1 and Part 2 on my blog to see our Bedroom Makeover progress. I’m thrilled to debut the final reveal of Tori’s new master bedroom which has now been transformed into a Lili Alessandra haven!
The Bed
The biggest transformation began with the addition of the Lynn Upholstered Headboard which replaced the four poster bed that was too large for the space (to view click here ). The Headboard upholstered in silver velvet become the focal point of the entire room providing Tori her dream bedroom – luxurious yet still comfortable to curl up in at night.
I selected The Lynn upholstered headboard because of its clean lines that helped make the room airy and luxurious. Our headboards are 70” tall and really lay the foundation for the room to be built around. With Craig Aple assisting with the install and Jason Risner our photographer we went into action.
Underneath the bed we added a beautiful white rug to bring the space together. As you can see, Tori’s sweet little boy was assisting us and particularly loved the rug!
The Bedding
Now it’s time for my favorite part… the bedding! This was where we really had fun! I always enjoy assisting clients with the customization of their beds and truly developing a bedroom of their dreams.
The Bed Skirt
Tori loved our Emily White Linen gathered bed skirt which added fullness and a bit of romance to the bottom of the bed. Our bed skirts are designed as three individual panels that work on a King or Queen Size bed. It’s a beautiful linen and the 3-panel feature makes care and cleaning much easier. As you can see pictured, you just attach the bed skirt to the box springs using straight pins.
The Quilted Coverlet
As we mentioned in the design consultation , Tori wanted to utilize more of an organic fabric for the foundation basic pieces. We achieved this with the EmilyDiamond Quilted Coverlet in White Linen as well as two matching Luxe Euro pillows. This fabric is versatile for a variety of climates as it provides warmth yet is breathable.
The Moderne Personal Blanket
Being a fashion blogger, Tori’s room also doubles as a space for her to shoot photography and video. Given this, she wanted to add an extra layer of glam which helped personalized the room to her taste. To do this we added the Moderne personal blanket in Silver Velvet with Silver Print along with matching pillows to fill the large King size bed. The contrast of the luxurious silver velvet with the quilted white linen worked beautifully and made Tori’s eyes light up!
The icing on the cake
For the finishing touch Tori selected our Ellie 18x30 decorative pillow – which is made in ivory velvet with ivory ribbon outlined in silver beads. I was not surprised that she gravitated to this pillow. It is like the icing on the cake! A Lili Alessandra bed isn’t complete without at least one statement decorative pillow.
The Drapery Panels
The room also featured a set of bay windows which currently did not have any drapery treatment. In order to complete the room we added the Jane White Sheer Linen curtain panels with nickel plated hardware. The white sheer linen drapery panels allowed natural lighting to come into the room and highlighted a romantic and airy space.
The Décor
For the accompanying décor Tori had been inspired by a black and white photo of the PRADA art installation in Marfa, Texas and felt that it embodied both she and her husband’s styles. We worked to combine her love of fashion and her husband’s Texas ranching roots throughout the décor.
